What is the <I>word</I> Timothy should preach? Scriptures.<br /><br />Anyone claiming to be a Christian should embrace the doctrine of Sola Scriptura. If Scripture is not absolute in its truth and even in its power - then there is no hope. There is no Christ and there is no gospel.<br /><br />But if it is absolute in its truth and power - then the 'Christian' should take heed to follow its instruction.<br /><br />People today would rather follow a captivating speaker than the Word of God. The gospel has been tossed away because it falls harshly on the ears of unbelievers. That's the point. According to Scripture, man has rebelled against God and stands at enmity with Him. You would think they would be hungry for reconciliation, but man is depraved wanting nothing more than to be left to his own selfish desires - to eat from the tree he chooses, not from the life God offers him.<br /><br />I've lost my place but want to say - Sola Scriptura!unstonedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13480058152734784405noreply@blogger.com
