We hear questions like, "Why does evil exist?", "Why does God allow bad things to happen?", etc. The real question is "Why does God allow good to happen?"
Think about it like this. In your life, have you ever done something wrong, made a mistake, (don't play the Rom 3:23 card, please), and the ripple effect from it had major implications in a bad way? Assuming you said yes, put that with the fact that there are more than 6.5 Billion people in the world. Chances are, our ripples should be running into each other, as they have been since the foundations of the world.
Mankind is selfish and prideful. Even our 'good' is motivated by selfish desires at it's core. These qualities are evident before we even break out the Bible. So, in a world of 6.5 Billion selfish, prideful people; how can any good exist?
Does God allow evil, or does He prevent perpetual evil?
Again, just looking for some thoughts...

Why Does GOOD Exist?

Psalm 16:2
O my soul, you have said to the LORD,“You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You.”
Psalm 107:31
Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness,And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
Proverbs 20:6
Most men will proclaim each his own goodness, But who can find a faithful man?
Now we get into the New Testament and people (for whatever reason) take this verse way out of context....
Romans 15:14
Now I myself am confident concerning you, my brethren, that you also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
We must understand that there is none good. Five times the scriptures state:
They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.”
Let us not forget that ANY goodness can only truly be found in a born again believer that is bearing the marks and fruit of the Spirit of God.
Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
The good that there is, which is done by our Father (God), and alot more of it than I think we tend to recognize. (for whatever reason(s))(probably because it sells better) but anyway I digress...
The good is directly from God, not in and of ourselves, and it shows how great and merciful (among other things) a God, a risen Savior we serve. (or claim to anyway). Wow alot of these "()" today, being I can't spell what they are...anyway I digress again. I too, (maybe you weren't really getting at this, but thats what I got) don't understand why God has and continues to show His loving kindness to such an undeserving people. It sure could teach us a lesson about love and what it really is though...(see Corinth.)
I don't know why, other than God being perfect and loving us as He does that evil isn't all we ever experience. That, for me is very hard to wrap my head around. I usually don't give people what they deserve, much less what they do not. How mysterious and great the God is we serve.
That made sense in my head, maybe it might in you alls ( after i read it again, it was kinda all over the place....if not, disregard
Using us to fulfill His will is His kindness.... A kindness that leads us sinners to repentance...
yes His kindness
