I believe the answer to this question is yes.
Three times in the introduction of his gospel account Dr. Luke refers to either giving an "orderly" account or to things being done in a proper order.
The apostle Paul also referred to the order of things in his first letter to the church at Corinth.
1Corinthians 14:40 (NKJV)
"Let all things be done decently and in order"
The adjective "all" does not leave an opening for us to do anything in an un-orderly way.
While we always adhere to the leading of the Spirit of God and must be willing to yield to the Spirit's direction, we must also strive to maintain decency and order.
So, whether it is our checkbook, our vacation planning or our worship services within our local fellowships; let it all be done decently and in order.

Should we even have an order in worship services?

Good word. Has anyone else ever seen or let the 'order' of worship become the 'object' of worship. I know that many times I have focused what seems to much on the order rather than God. Many times in working with the pastor to prepare for a service, much of my attention is: "What song should go first?"; "Do we need a video here, or there?"; and many others. I know that this is an area where hopefully I (or anyone else involved) is being led by the spirit, but it's a little scary to know that getting caught up at all in the actual order could possibly become idolatry.
Maybe I'm too hard on myself, I don't know. It sure feels good when it runs smooth from beginning to end, and I hope that's not pride. I hope that feeling is the presence of the Spirit.
